Who Uses AMCP Dossiers?
The AMCP formulary submission dossiers have been widely adopted by managed care, government programs (e.g. Department of Defense), and many hospitals. A 2003 survey by the Bruckner Group of MCOs and PBMs that represent approximately 80% of covered lives in the US concluded, “The AMCP format is now the industry standard.” This is a partial list of MCOs, PBMs and government programs that have adopted the AMCP formulary submission format:
